From Virginia Beach to Bergen for sex with a 10-year-old girl?

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Horrifying but true, authorities say: Christopher R. Morgan came up from Virginia Beach for what he thought would be sex with a 10-year-old girl.

Morgan, a medical records billing clerk, "was using the Internet to make arrangements with an adult female for the purpose of meeting and engaging in sexual acts with her presumed 10-year-old daughter," said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli. "Among these acts was sexual intercourse with the child."

What Morgan didn't know, the prosecutor said, was that he was communicating with an undercover detective with Molinelli's computer crimes unit.

"He arrived from Virginia Beach at a prearranged meeting location in Bergen County [Upper Saddle River] and was arrested without incident," the prosecutor said.

Charges included attempted aggravated sexual assault, endangerment and luring.

Morgan, who is single, was being held on $250,000 bail pending a court hearing Tuesday afternoon in Hackensack.
