Ticker tape doesn't exist anymore, so office workers along the parade route tossed whatever paper they could find on the Yankees -- including confidential documents.
Some documents that contained very sensitive private information weren't even shredded, Fox 5 is reporting. Some of the documents were medical records listing names, addresses, insurance information, medical diagnoses, and other private information, Fox said.
One document was somebody's stock brokerage account, containing financial information.
Imagine what identity thieves could have done with it. Now imagine what lawyers will do.
Fox 5 said it's trying to contact the people listed on the documents.
