Poontangle: Chances that bikini-trim driver avoids serious trouble are slimmer than....

EDITORIAL: A women crashed her car in Key West last week while shaving her bikini line in traffic. And if you think the bust was bush, consider that this was EXACTLY a day after she was clipped for driving under the influence with a suspended license. The cops had Megan Mariah Barnes by the short ones this time. One web site dubbed her "Pubic Enemy No. 1."

Seems Barnes was toolling along through Cudjoe Key when she asked her passenger-seat ex-husband to take the wheel while she pulled a quick trim job before meeting her newest boyfriend.

The couple's Thunderbird slammed the slowing vehicle from behind, then tried taking off. About a half-mile down the road before police found them -- with her in the back seat and her ex behind the wheel. No word on whether the gardening work was done.

One thing's for sure: MMB will be emptying her coin purse in court, if she isn't send to jail.

"About 10 years ago I stopped a guy in the exact same spot... who had three or four syringes sticking out of his arm," a police officer told the Key West Citizen, which broke the story. "It was just surreal and I thought, 'Nothing will ever beat this.'
