 Weapon of mass instruction: WNY stealth car dedicated to Rebeka VereaWe need reminders amid our hectic lives of what we can lose so easily if we're not careful, which is why West New York police now have a new cruiser dedicated to catching speeders, thanks to the parents of Rebeka Verea, killed on graduation night five years ago in a crash on West Side Avenue in North Bergen.

"We are so proud and so happy" about the new stealth vehicle, said Lourdes Vega, who, with her husband, created the "Say Yes to Life" program operated by their Rebeka Verea Foundation.

Service tomorrow for North Bergen soldier killed in Afghanistan

Sgt. Marcos Gorra, who the government said died during a training exercise in Afghanistan last week, will be buried tomorrow. His alma mater, North Bergen High School, will hold a public ceremony at 11:45 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession's passage in front of the school on Kennedy Boulevard and 74th Street on its way to the cemetery in Fairview.
