A 22-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash into a utility, police announced on Tuesday, May 28. Anthony Perez, 22 of Lititz has been identified as the driver of the vehicle that fatally crashed, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. Authorities are investigating a deadly vehicle fire in Manchester Township. Northern York Regional police were called to the 2400 block of Pin Oak Drive around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, May 23. A Lancaster County man was more than twice the legal limit in a crash that sent his passenger into emergency surgery earlier this month, police said. James Giuca, 37, of Denver, had a blood alcohol level of .184% when he lost control negotiating a curve on East Swartzville Road on May 13 around 2:25 a.m., East Cocalico Township police said. Giuca's vehicle struck a tree, requiring his passenger be extricated from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. A 56-year-old convicted rapist from Pennsylvania is facing charges for reporting a fake address in order to comply with Meghan's Law, authorities said. David Pressler, a lifetime offender who was convicted of rape in May 1996, failed to provide a valid address to Pennsylvania State Police's Megan's Law Section, Camp Hill police said.
